Tagua nuts, also considered the vegetable ivory. Easy to work, carving, engraving or scrimshaw. With an ivory white tone, it is a hard and consistent material, once removed cover. Taguas are not completely solid, has a small central opening. Mainly used to manufacture knobs and spacers for knives. Polished like ivory is widely used also in handmade jewelry.
